Star Wars burlesque show – I have a good feeling about this, in my pants

HOT DAMN!!! If ever you wanted the reason why TK421 wasn’t at his post on the Death Star, then here it is!

That’s a picture from a Star Wars-themed Burlesque show that the super hot science fiction chicks of the Los Angeles downtown club Bordello decided to stage, as Courtney Cruz makes me wish George Lucas had gone a different way in A New Hope all those years ago.

If ever Lucas wanted to make people forget about the prequels and Jar-Jar Binks in one go, then here’s how to do it – scantily clad space babes who I think are using the Force to make me feel funny, like when I used to climb the ropes in PE.

Here’s another picture of C3PO, as performed by Lucy Fur. While I don’t know if she is fluent in over six million forms of communication, judging by this she speaks the only kind of communication that is essential like a native.

Thank the maker!

The full story of the evening, as well as a kick ass picture gallery of Lucy, Courtney and the rest of the girls, is up at the LA Weekly music blog.

And as a final treat, here’s one last picture of Courtney in uniform.

So that’s where the Empire went wrong with their recruitment posters. I wouldn’t mind staying on target and bullseyeing her womp rat, great kid do get cocky, here’s where the fun begins etc etc.
