Seeing the new big bad in grainy handycam footage while they have a cigarette can’t help but lesson the impact on the show itself, but I’ve let down the drawbridge in this instance, for Matt Smith going over his script during a night shoot in Cardiff.
Catalisst took the footage and there’s loads more on her You Tube channel, if you like that kind of stuff.
What do you think – does he look like the Doctor? Because I keep thinking of Roy Cropper from Coronation Street.
