Great science fiction picture no2 – Neil Gaiman, Steven Moffat and Richard Curtis discuss Doctor Who

NEIL Gaiman tweeted this image earlier today and it very nearly melted my brain.

It shows him at Upper Boat studios in Cardiff, holding up what I can only assume is his script for the next series of Doctor Who, and about to read through it with Steven Moffat, the Who showrunner.

Richard Curtis is also there too, a few weeks ahead of his Who episode, Vincent and the Doctor, airing on the BBC.

A few things came to mind. The first was if I was in the room, I’d be a gibbering buffoon in no time flat.

The second is why does Richard Curtis look so much like Christopher Biggins?

The third is that Gaiman’s hair looks fantastic.

The fourth is that the setting is a little dull. Couldn’t they have met in a mad scientist’s lab, or around the TARDIS console or something like that?

And the last is I am very excited about this, but am trying to keep those feelings in check so the episode does not become THE GREATEST THING EVER!!!!!
