THE Toy Story films are – I’m sure you’ll agree – fantastic pieces of work with great characters and something for everyone in them, young or old.
Here, Pixar chief John Lasseter looks back at the creation of Buzz Lightyear in a nice bit of video, with GI Joe playing a big part. I always thought he had touches of William Shatner, although that may have been Tim Allen’s influence, which he brought to bear in Galaxy Quest too.
Toy Story 3 – in 3D – where the toys end up in a day care centre when Andy goes to college, comes out in 2010. Can’t wait!
