Science Fiction Instagram accounts you should follow

I’m a big fan of Instagram and enjoy sharing my life there – see – so I thought I’d compile a list of the best science fiction types to follow on the photo sharing website.

This is a purely personal list based around people I like to follow and ones who actually share stuff themselves instead of getting their team to do it.

How many do you follow?

Mark Hamill – a great mix of fun family stuff, Star Wars and other stuff

It’s always great to meet the next generation of UPFs! #StarWarsCelebration #StarWars

Blade Runner Reality – supercool site looking for real-world locations that could be in Blade Runner

Chris Pratt – a bit intermittent depending on when he has a film out, but good fun

If you’ve ever read the poem “Footprints,” which is about a guy who walks with Jesus down the beach and at one point there’s only one set of footprints because Jesus flies off or pulls a trick of some kind I can’t remember anyways I wrote that poem and it’s actually about my wife and how when there was no footprints it’s cause we took off in a helicopter. So I’m sorry for the misunderstanding. If you purchased a copy of “Footprints,” and have it on your wall you owe me fifty thousand dollars PLUS INTEREST. And if you ever felt like you were alone just remember that Jesus could walk on water so technically he probably wouldn’t have left footprints to begin with. BUT JESUS DOES LOVE YOU. That is for sure. And so does my wife.

NASA – cooler than cool space photos

The Hubble Space Telescope turns 25 years old today! Celebrate with us as we share incredible images from Hubble: This NASA Hubble Space Telescope image captures the chaotic activity atop a three-light-year-tall pillar of gas and dust that is being eaten away by the brilliant light from nearby bright stars. The pillar is also being assaulted from within, as infant stars buried inside it fire off jets of gas that can be seen streaming from towering peaks. This turbulent cosmic pinnacle lies within a tempestuous stellar nursery called the Carina Nebula, located 7,500 light-years away in the southern constellation Carina. Hubble’s Wide Field Camera 3 observed the pillar on Feb. 1-2, 2010. The colors in this composite image correspond to the glow of oxygen (blue), hydrogen and nitrogen (green), and sulfur (red). • I wish I could get my Star Wars story out, if only they knew what I own it is historic and I want to be the one to continue this Star Wars story. What I own is the last documentary film footage of the (destroyed) estate art studio of artist, Maxfield Parrish. Lucas said that it was the art work of Parrish that inspired Star Wars and Lucas has his Parrish collection. That precious studio of Parrish is where that art work was created and it provided all the elements for the masterpieces. Parrish created that entire world and studio. I have so much of it on film, it was the 1990s and I was there, I have the story that no one seems to know about. that precious studio should have been protected, not destroyed it contained so much historical info to the world of Star Wars. But I at least have the story, film and photos if anyone is interested and the whole world should be interested. Does any one know George Lucas?- and will explain a sad and lost chapter in art history that must be discovered……
Thank u for reading this, Robin Lee, Maine ||
