Star Wars Uncut takes social media into sweded galaxy far, far away

THIS HAS TO be the greatest idea in the history of great ideas – worthy of Jedi Grand Masters at least.

Star Wars Uncut asks people to remake 15 second clips from the film, before they are stitched together into a final cut.

How cool is that? You can go through to the main site here which allows you to watch some of the other attempts – and while some are woeful, fair play for having a go.

You would also be forgiven for thinking this was the film production technique George Lucas used when he was making the prequels. The difference is he had his eyes shut as he glued the scenes together.
