A long time ago …
MY name is Neil Macdonald – you may know me as @xxnapoleonsolo – and I am a full time science fiction geek.
For years, I used to bore my friends with the latest sci-fi show details or thoughts on the classics, but then at the suggestion of my friend @AlisonGow, I decided to start blogging about it.
That was in April 2008 when I took my first tentative steps on to Blogger, and scifilove.net was born.
Scifi Love – since then
From way back then, I have blogged whenever I can spare the time and have something to say.
I like to blog when I have a personal connection to something I have seen or heard, but I also get the latest sci-fi breaking news up too. I don’t have a particular area of interest and will be switching between all areas of the genre as the mood takes me.
That could mean posts on anything from Star Wars to Blade Runner to Doctor Who to Olaf Stapledon to John Wyndham to … well, you get the picture.
After clocking up virtually a year and a half on Blogger, I took the decision to try and go to the next level with my blogging and moved to WordPress, which is where you find me now.
